The first opening theme, "Puzzle" (パズル Pazuru?) was written by Rieko Ito, composed by Kitagawa Katsutoshi, and performed by The round Table featuring Nino. Ever since the false accusations of being called a thief in elementary school and a pervert in junior high school, the protagonist, Kanata Hanasaki, is an alexithymia sufferer who has been ostracized by his family and lacks emotion.
The worlds puzzle is the main theme to Hikari ochiru II, it describes how Andre and the others are what makes the world whole along with the elements and it's people.
