In plain language it opens the doors for a post-Christian culture to hear the Word of God with fresh language that speaks directly to who they are and where they are at, and reveals to them beauty of the gospel and they’re desperate need for Jesus. It allows individuals to dive right into an encounter with Jesus regardless of their previous experience with the Bible or church. I know that I am benefiting in such a profound way from hundreds of hours of someone else’s journey by opening these pages.
It has been amazing to witness how The Passion Translation has awakened a new love for the Word of God in so many lives, and how for me personally it has given greater depth to the things I had previously explored.
